First post, first purchase

This is my first blog post. In order to try out the technology, I thought that I'd use this blog to post thoughts about my stock investments. In general, I'm following a long-term, value investing style based on the classics (Graham, Fisher, etc.) and the current legends (Buffett, Lynch, etc.). The first purchase that I made using this style was on April 21 of Harley-Davidson at $46.00 per share.
